Singapore...

Ok everyone, after 8 weeks of having lectures at the Kadijksplein 18 (opposite the Scheepvaartsmuseum on Prins Hendrikkade) we head off to SIngapore tomorrow. Its been an intense but memorable 8 weeks with lots of different lecture themes (Father Heart of God, Missions, God's Word, Evangelism) and with students from many different places (Holland, Africa, India). We went out in teams to different cities in the Netherlands 11 days. I stay in Amsterdam, my beloved city, with Yuksel and Mike (our Turkish-American host family) where we played soccer with Moroccan and Turkish children, worked with the homeless, helped facilitate a buurtfeest in the Transvaalbuurt, worked with Serve the City to clean up ánd paint the home of a lady who was unable to do so herself. All in all very intense weeks. And now its off to Singapore where we will learn what doing missions in Asia is all about. After 3 weeks there, it will be off to China for me. We will be visiting several cities there. Hopefully I can keep you all update via this blog....
